Nasya is an important therapeutic procedure in Ayurveda, primarily used for treating disorders of the head and neck region. The word Nasya comes from the Sanskrit word “Nasa,” meaning nose, and it involves administering herbal oils, powders, or juices through the nasal passages.
Shodhana Nasya: Cleansing type, used to remove toxins from the head and neck.
Pratimarsha Nasya: Mild daily administration for maintenance and preventive health.
